School atmosphere
The pupil oriented programme and the school’s size contribute equally to the social and cultural atmosphere of the school. Cooperation among pupils is stimulated and works out successfully as all pupils function at the same level, allowing for differentiation and specialization.
At Beekvliet people know each other. The school offers its pupils a safe environment in which social and cultural interests are integrated.
A small school
Beekvliet is a small school. Thus the organization is characterized by its transparent structure, an unambiguous programme and an environment where people know each other. The first three school years work according to a system where pupils are placed in forms monitored by Class Mentors.
At the beginning of the Tweede Fase pupils choose their Personal Mentor who will guide them along their individual path towards the final examinations.
The high educational level - VWO with Latin and Greek - makes strong demands on pupils' faculties. In return the school offers a well-balanced package of support varying from extra lessons to Mental Attitude Training and Personality Building. The mentors are the pivoting point in this system.
A regional school
Beekvliet is attended by pupils from the entire region of ‘s-Hertogenbosch/Eindhoven. Our school, its programme and facilities are well-adapted to receiving pupils from far away. Beekvliet has always offered its pupils facilities to do part of their homework at school.
