Extra Projects

At a school like ours there’s always a number of pupils who are extremely talented. Most of the time they show good school results although not necessarily so. Whatever the level of their achievements, these pupils benefit from extra attention. This will also prevent the pupils from boredom, de-motivation and bad results. The extra attention we offer these pupils is a chance to take part in a extracurricular project. Thus we try to create possibilities of an ´expanded´ curriculum.
We ask advice from the Centre for Intelligence Research (CBO = Centrum voor Begaafdheidsonderzoek) at the University of Nijmegen.
These pupils will probably also qualify for these ´extra’s´ in the 2nd and 3rd years, but that depends on evaluations at the end of each school year.
Pupils also have the option to take up an extra subject: Spanish.
The parents of participating pupils are duly informed of all extra projects.
